Executive bio

Stephen R. Jordan built SRJ Consulting & Services LLC on three decades in enterprise operations, security, and risk, including the programs of Citi, Intel, McAfee, and Optiv. The frameworks the practice advises on come from running those programs, not studying them.

At Citi he owned Level 3 endpoint security across roughly 500,000 endpoints in 165 countries. At Intel and McAfee he led product security incident response, directing senior security architects, publishing CVEs to MITRE, and standing up the Security Development Lifecycle. At Optiv, one of North America's largest pure-play security advisories, he scoped multi-year enterprise engagements directly at the CIO, CEO, and CDO level. Earlier roles as owner-operator and engineer rounded out the operator-owner-engineer-advisor range the practice rests on today.

SRJ is built on a constraint most AI advisory firms cannot claim: no software resold, no vendor partnerships, no implementation revenue. The advisory itself is the product, which removes any commercial reason to recommend anything other than what is right for the business.
